[Help/REQ] JavaScript Copy Textarea on Button Click?

Hey everyone, currently coding a website for a family friend but have run into a small bit of bother when it comes down to a tiny bit of Javascript coding.

Basically, I need to select a textarea with 1 click of a button that also copies what is in the text area to the clipboard. I've searched Google but can only find long, long scripts. Surely there must be an easier way to achieving this?

This will do it in IE.

In other browsers, there is no simple way of doing it. Most use a Flash object proxy iirc.
