Need some advice here please.
I've just discovered mediaportal and think it's a great piece of freeware.
I now want to get a remote control for my pc in order to use it (i'm running xp pro).
The choices are:
1. MCE remote
2. Streamzap remote.
I'm not sure about all the functionality of the mce remote. All that i do know is that it is compatible with mediaportal.
The streamzap, however, claims to be able to control a large list of applications on the pc as well as having macro features.
After installing mediaportal, i wasn't overly impressed with it's inbuilt media player so i have it launching media player classic in full screen mode when watching videos. I will also be wanting foobar2000 as my default music player. The streamzap is listed as being able to control both these players.
Will both the remotes be able to control mediaportal, mediaplayerclassic and foobar functions? Will i be better off with the streamzap do you think?
