Help Required buying a flash and a lens for Nikon D5100

Hi Guys,

I have been asked to take photos for my brother in-laws wedding, which will be taking place in India in December this year. Currently I have a Nikon D5100 with 18-105mm VR Lens.

My total budget would be around £500

I need advice whether the below are a good choice;

Nikon AF-S 35mm f1.8 G DX Lens (http://www.jessops.com/online.store...ikon/af-s-35mm-f1-8-g-dx-lens-76070/show.html)
