I'm really struggling to find a liquid 240mm AIO liquid cooler that is reliable and relatively quiet.

I was originally interested in one that has non RGB fans but RGB on the plate (lian Li) but they are known to be garbage noisy/rattly etc., (but I understand i can turn RGB off in most desktop apps so will get one with RGB fans if I have to).

Meanwhile Fractal have discontinued fault issues. So does Bequiet (who I really wanted to get!), and quite a few other makes need to make revisions 1, 2, even 3.

I also liked the look of the Arctic freezer ones (the black, and the RGB) but that fan on the plate is very noisy apparently.

Maybe this is what happens when the market is saturated (no pun intended!).

I'm now looking at Deepcool and MSI, although MSI seem to be a bit blah with their performance...not a huge deal to me as it's going on a B850 tomahawk with a 9700X, but the plates# designs and RGB appear boring looking to me.

Anyone have real world, non-review, experiences with 240mm AIO liquid coolers and could you go as far as recommending the one you have?

In the past I had an Akasa one, and currently have a Corsair one, but I don't want to go for Corsair again.

Cheers

Only have experience with the 280mm artic freezer ii and I'm happy with it. The small fan can be unplugged and the pump slowed down to 50% with only 2-3 degrees rise in temp.

But if you want reliability and silence then go air cooled, which is what I'll be doing next. Pump noise plus fans pushing air through a dense radiator will always make a fair bit of noise.

I just built an AM5 build for my dad with thermaltake phantom and was blown away by how quiet it was. I have another one sat on my desk ready to replace my artic freezer with
