Help required, n0 display at startup

Advice required please,

Computer fres up, makes all the right noises, but there is no display, I have cleared CMOS -no resultant fix

Spec

Motherboard: Asus A8n sli deluxe 64bit socket 939.
2x geforce 6600GT PCI-X in SLI configure.
2GB Ram
1x IDE drive
2x 160 RAID 0 SATA drives
3500+ AMD cpu

Have you tried with one graphics card alone? Did it work before and if so have you altered anything?

tried with one, setup of new system as three weeks ago and was working okay until this morning. system did refuse to carryout normal shutdown lastnight, carried out hard shutdown. now won,t display anyhing

i had this problem and was fixed when i got a new gfx card

im sure there is another way to fix it though as sometimes it did work, most of the time it didnt though

Take everything out bar 1 stick of RAM and 1 gfx card (i.e. no hard drives/PCI cards etc), clear CMOS again, and try. If that fails, try a different gfx card and a different stick of RAM.
If it works, add one component at a time.

I have tried switching on with no memory sticks on the mainboard, and recive no bleeps?????

Does this signify a bad board?

I had the same problem. It seemed that the Bios chip had been corupted.
I had to RMA the board. The ASUS forum has a number of similar issues with that board.
