Gday everyone, First of all I will apologise in advance for this question and I hope the boredom of reading it doesn’t make your eyes bleed.

For the past few months I have been building a cockpit sim for the vision jet by FlightFX for MSFS2020
I have invested loads of time money into it only to realise my trusted laptop cannot run the 6 screens that are needed for the sim.
The sim has a PFD Screen a MFD Screen 3 X GTC 5" touch controllers and then the main viewing screen.

I need to build a Tower, however my budget is £1200.
What would you recommend in the way of hardware for a tower to be able to run all this.
I do have a couple of Startech HDMI adapters that I would like to use on the system as it would be a waste not to use them.
one is a Mini Displayport to 3 X HDMI
and the other is a USB C to 3 X HDMI

This PC will be dedicated for MSFS2020 andnot much else

Thanks in advance

Kevin

DP does have the ability to daisy chain, but in terms of raw outputs, I'm pretty sure even a 4090 can only do 4. Do the adapters allow you to bypass these requirements? I was looking at the Startech and it says:

GPU CAPABILITIES: Please verify maximum number of displays supported by your GPU; Some GPU chips (such as Intel HD Graphics) are only capable of supporting a maximum of three displays (laptop screen may be disabled when connected to three monitors)

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I wouldn't know if they could or not... its been many years since I built a PC, I am more of a Board Jockey than a computer specialist

Can you ask the manufacturer what they recommend? Alternatively, you might have more luck asking in the VR forum how to get this running.
