Hi All

I recently had a Head Unit arrive from china, unfortunately it was faulty so i need to return it.

The Supplier has booked TNT to collect the parcel BUT here is where i am getting a headache.

TNT want full customs forms filled in and also a copy of a commercial invoice.

My problems :
1. I don't have the faintest idea on what needs to be filled in on any of these customs forms.
2. I don't have an invoice apart from the paypal payment i made.

Also UK Customs is telling me that if i get a new replacement sent back i will have the pay the £104 fees AGAIN on import. and gave NO advice on how to get it refunded in the first place without some specific information.

I'm really stuck as the Chinese company doesn't understand why TNT wont collect it, Wont send me an "invoice" and are just waiting on TNT to post it to them.

has anyone got any experience with sending faulty good back to the retailer in china?

TNT just called me.

They are willing to deal with the suppliers for me, and have sent them a request for customs data and the commercial invoice.

Once thats done they will email me and collect the box.

Seems like they have it all in hand, and considering they imported it in the first place its all linked together.
