recently posted about a bios upgrade for windows 10. kind of given up on that idea. Now trying to fix problem with windows 7 overclocking issue. i have setup 8 packs bios and settings on the Z170-e bundle @4.4ghz. It only runs for about a hour before i get a blue screen error saying something about a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the time interval. HELP please only had board a few weeks and this is last resort.

Post in the Customer Services forum.

Meantime, check if it runs without issues at stock speeds to help them decide how to help you.

EDIT - just saw your other thread and you have done so already. Good.

so i reverted back to standard Bios settings and seems to run smother. But alas no overclock.

Hi thanks for reply. It runs fine at stock speed also if using Bios clocking runs at faster speed of about 3.2ghz with no problems. only happens when using 8pack settings.

if you have had the bundle for under 14days send it back..... Call them NOW!

You say "recently posted about a bios upgrade for windows 10" if you have changed the bios you cant overclock this chip end of story. you need to be running a modified bios, i also have had problems running high overclocks on the 6400 in windows 10. win 7/8.1 is fine.

if you want to keep the CPU you can overclock to 4.2Ghz without problems, but it should run as the speeds it was sold at.
