Built myself a new rig yesterday, everything went smoothly EXCEPT ONE THING.

I have an Asus Maximus III Formula mobo with an additional PCIE GEN2 SATA6G card for superfast HDD support. One of those -- www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-378-AS&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=

When I have my HDD plugged into this card, my sysem won't boot, it just gets stuck on a screen (with the underscore still flashing).

Google tells me that at least two other people have had this problem, both of which were unresolved. Please help me!

I have the most up-to-date drivers and it is installed properly and recognised as itself - so I can only assume that there are bad drivers that Asus need to fix; or it doesn't work properly with the Mobo (which it should) : /

This is rather odd.

To get an accurate response to iTek's questions, I plugged my HDD back into the card and attempted to enter BIOS. Instead of taking me to BIOS, I found myself on a text filled screenwhich mentioned something about a Marvell AHCI SATA Controller (that's the card) with a registered HDD beneath it.
So I rebooted from there and everything is going smoothly with it - as if nothing had ever failed! I'm a bit confused, but I don't mind now as long as I get my speeds :D
