I've overclocked my new i7 970 to 4.2 ghz - stress tested for 18 hours, so its happily stable.
As well as installing the 970, I put some new RAM in - 12gb of Kingston HyperX 1600.
However its very underclocked, since the two viable options I have for DRAM frequency in my BIOS are 1203 (which its currently set to), and 1603. My DRAM bus voltage is set to 1.64, but my memory timings are all on auto.
Since the RAM is rated to 1600, should I just set 1603 - since this is so close?
