help setting up hotmail account on Iphone 3g pls

I have been having problems setting this email up on my Iphone and was wondering whether it was because I access my hotmail account only through Microsoft Office Outlook Express in Vista 64? Had no trouble setting up my other email accounts on my Iphone though. Anybody help?

Can't set up directly unless you have Hotmail Premium.

Can access it through a proxy: http://v3.izymail.com/

Thanks for the above. After doing some googling I see you can do it for free if you jailbreak the phone etc

Oh I thought it was either subscription based or you had to pay after so long and that it was only the registration that is free?
Giving it a go now

Unfortunately message quota is 30 and account expires on the 22nd November 08

That's rubbish. It used to be free. My apologies.

I just registered a free googlemail account, and changed my e-mail for some things, like facebook alerts, website alerts, and just general e-mails.

I'm using one of those as spare at the moment. Maybe bit of a daft question but is it still free to use another at the same time? I could then transfer most of the hotmail stuff over to it.

You can register as many Gmail accounts as you want

I use two. One for formal requirements and one for general use.
