Help setting up new rig

Well my parts came today, and even though i setup the rig in my sig a couple of years ago without a hitch i feel like a total noob.

I can install the hardware without a problem. But i'm confusing myself when it comes to the bios and OS.

Could someone please go through setting this rig up step by step with me to ease my nerves?

I'm getting confused with all the jmicron f6 on boot stuff. My current rig was just plug in and install OS with no need to do anything beforehand. I won't be using RAID.

C2D e6750
Abit IP35 Pro
Geil DDR6400 ULL
2 Sata HDDs
1 IDE DVDRW
Xfi Xtreme Gamer

Yep no raid at all. I just read in the manual that if your using the IDE port on the IP35pro you need to install the jmicron drivers. Is this once the OS is installed? Do i need to set the sata drives to anything special before installing? Like IDE mode etc?

I think it's just a simple case of me over complicating things as usual.

Oh wait! Do the jmicron drivers get installed in XP? And do i need both of them from the IP35 thread in the motherboard section.

Last bump before i start building this thing. With all the IP35 Pro users here you'd think somebody would know.
