help setting up rsync

Does any one know how to set up Rsync here? I wouldnt mind paying someone for an hours help.

Its for a windows box.

I used to use it a fair bit on Windows. I used the cwRsync distribution:

Apart from a few gotcha's, you can just use the same Linux parameters:

if its win2003 you can use tools like deltacopy that set up services etc for you without needing to go near the command line...

I have got this set up and working properly now. Thanks for the advice.

1 thing though, when the files copy from the live server to local server I get access denied on the folder. I have to take ownership of the folder and replace permissions. Is there anyway to copy the folders with out copying the file permissions?

you can change who the service runs as so that the files will be created with the appropriate permissions

Ignore, restarting server + reinstall worked!
