Hey guys,

I've a Gigabyte Z77-D3H and 3570K, basically at the moment I'm very rarely using AutoCAD so I don't need the processor sitting at it's current OC 24/7.

I've tried having a go at the Turbo boost settings in the BIOS to let me run it at 3.0Ghz (30x100) and when the processor ramps the multiplier up to 42 to allow a 4.2Ghz speed.

I've included some snapshots of the BIOS settings I currently have it at, could you guys have a look and see if I'm doing the right thing?

If I've done some things incorrectly could you give some constructive criticism? I'm trying to learn as I go along :).

Thanks!

Look's good to me.

You could try changing the voltage from Auto to normal for the Vcore to unlock the dynamic vcore.

I would set the CPU VTT to 1.060V and the PLL to 1.500V manually and see if it's stable.

Because you are using the memory profile 1 I would just change the selectable to "Quick" or disabled.

But then again, if it's not broken, don't fix it?

Didn't know you can overclock the IGPU. xD

I don't see the point of having run at 3.0Ghz:confused:

Why not leave EIST etc On and have the speedstep do its thing when the PC is idle?

This is all I do with my 2600k, when it needs to it runs at 4.8ghz, when I'm only browsing or watching a film it sits at 1.6.

yep same board i wasnt sure about having eist on but yep normal oc of 4.3 and throttles down to like 1.6 when not being used

soid just save hassle and do like stu said
