Hopefully someone can help me further. I'm very confused with my Z68ITX / Sugo SG06 build and don't know how to proceed.

The Z86 motherboard has a 8 pin 12V power connector (PW2), which I'm familar.

Pin Signal
1 GND
2 GND
3 GND
4 GND
5 +12V
6 +12V
7 +12V
8 +12

However, the PSU from the SG06 has only a 4pin 12V connector. I have never seen this before.

Is this sufficient, not using the other half. I have seen posts in this group with the same build I would appreciate if someone with more knowledge could comment on it.

Thanks

Its fine, the 8 pins are for heavy loads and heavy useage such as massive overclocking, SLI etc, although I would expect 4 pins would still be adequeate. The 4 pins will only fit in one half, so its fine to just plug them in.

Thanks, this was very helpful. I think this should be made more clear in the SG06 description.
