My next door neighbour just had a skip collected off their drive. I saw the skip lorry loading the skip onto it.

I then heard a crunch and looked out a couple of minutes later to find a fence panel broke and my block drive damaged. The neighbours bush has been crushed as well. Unfortunately I did not get the lorry's reg or company name.

I have posted a letter through the neighbours door. Has anything like this happened to anyone else, and if so what was the outcome?

They won't get away with it, the company your neighbour hired the skip from should be getting a phone call asking for the money to repair theirs and your property I would imagine.

I would take photographs if I were you. Ones at good angles that make the damage look devastating. ;)

Under no circumstances are you to remove any loose bricks/wood/concrete/whatever that might not have already crumbled to the ground!

A few swift kicks or a tickle with a sledge hammer should do the trick ;)

Might aswell put down a bloodied fake arm and stuff too, make the most!

Put a few dead random organisms around the place too and call the RSPCA, that'll learn 'em proper like...

About that claim that black people can't swim...what about blacks in the marine corps? I believe they have to be able to swim to a very high standard just to get admission, nevermind the improvement that must be made as they train & work.

Nah they get pushed up the waiting list because their blackanese.

Sorry all im in ocuk theories and kinda pedant mode.

My dad owns a Skip company...

He offers insurance to his customers (within the pricing), and in fairness they are warned pre-delivery/collection about moving the skip to a place that might not be possible for the lorry to get to... so if anything is damaged they can be refunded in some way, and if they did move it.. tough teabags!

Not sure why he didn't stop ( ) but at least the neighbour can ring them up and mention that you saw the event!

Am i the only one that came into this thread expecting that perc was talking about the skips lorry?
