HELP - Socket A XP3200 upgrade problem

Slow progress.. but not there yet!

  Managed to get a new bios chip and at last some progress, but not quite there yet. I'm now getting a "partial" post and all seems ok with recognising cpu, memory, pci, raid disks, but it halts at the Nvidia boot agent line... message as follows:-

"Nvidia Boot Agent PXE-2.0 (Build 082 V1.82)
Copyright (c) 2001 Nvidia corporation
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel corporation
PXE-E61: media test failure, check table
PXE-MOF: exiting Nvidia Boot Agent
Disk Boot Failure, Insert System disc and press enter..."

This is all with the default bios loaded, if I load the optimised defaults - No post at all!! Can anyone explain this? Also this is with the old XP2600 cpu, with the new XP3200 no post so I assume there is a problem with the new cpu! For me just getting it to run with the old cpu will be just fine!!

Any would be most appreciated... Its not far away I think...

More Help

DFI have been pretty helpful with a new bios chip, but still not quite there yet. I've checked the "Sata" and "Raid" settings in the Genie bios setting and all seems ok... So I'm still getting the following message towards the end post:-

Nvidia Boot Agent PXE-2.0 (Build 082 V1.82)
Copyright (c) 2001 Nvidia corporation
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel corporation
PXE-E61: media test failure, check table
PXE-MOF: exiting Nvidia Boot Agent
Disk Boot Failure, Insert System disc and press enter..."

I've tried another SATA and a IDE hdd and same problem. To get any further than the "Disk Boot Failure, Insert System disc and press enter.." message, with a new hdd, you need to be able to boot from cd to format the hdd. Because the mb does not seem to want to boot from cd I cannot format the hdd or install a new op system and so i assume its something in the bios that is stopping this?? Once I can boot from cd and format a hdd I will be fine. I dont think I need to do this though as I'm sure the raid hdd's are are fine and its just a bios setting "somewhere" thats stopping it booting! Anyone with any more ideas?

The details on the boot menu are from the user manual pg89 section 3.3.
