Hello, my PC has been dead for some time now and I can't figure out what it is. I just turned it on a couple weeks ago, and it would not boot, the fans spin and the mobo power led's light up. But nothing else. I've replaced the CPU, and the motherboard, still the same problem. I can't see how the graphics card or RAM will do this as I don't get any post beeps or anything. I've tried booting with one or no RAM sticks and the same problem, this is really beginning to make me angry now. I'm worried its the PSU and its killed my system, and all the new parts ive bought for it.

My PSU is an OCZ StealthXtreme 600W.

Please help me, I've spent so much money trying to get this working, and I really need it working as soon as possible.

Thanks.

Yep, I've checked everything so many times, I'm getting really stressed over this because I can't see where its gone wrong, My PC was absolutely fine, I was playing oblivion, turned it on the next morning and it was dead. I have:

E2160, Abit IP-35e, X1950pro and 2gb Geil DDR2 800.

Thanks!

Ahhhh! so do you think i've blown my new mobo and CPU with the PSU as well?

Is it worth just buying a new PSU? The thing is the Motherboard lights up and everything, so the power supply hasnt just blown up completely. Maybe there's a voltage/ampage inbalance somewhere. I really need this fixed and havent got the time to RMA everything nor the money to buy everything. Should I buy a new PSU? If so, what shall I get? I need is as cheap as possible! I'm really worried that Ive destroyed 2 motherboards and two CPU's with it now.

I'll buy a new Corsair PSU then, strange as i heard good things about the OCZ's. It definitely couldnt be the video card, Ive tested without the video card, no signal to the keyboard or mouse still, same problem. I've also tested with the mobo's out of the case to make sure it isnt shorted anywhere, although I didnt think this had happened, as it was running happily in the case for a couple of weeks.

Bump.

I got a new PSU, it didnt work. So the only thing i'm left looking at is the graphics card. It just doesnt make sense! Surely it would at least post if the graphics card was faulty!

I now have absolutely no idea what to do. I've taken a look at the graphics card and a couple of the contact pins look like they've been half pulled off the PCB... although it looks pretty clean and i'm not sure if its meant to be like that.

The monitor, the mouse and the keyboard dont get a signal... The one who solves this for me gets a free part! (choose from all the spares ive got from trying to solve this!)

No joke I will send it to you.
