can anyone help with this problem.

wtf.jpg

ive had this for a while now, when i load a web page the random pixels move around, sometimes they dont even appear, they are there from the moment widows hits the login screen.

is this a problem with my monitor? or windows? ive done virus scans etc and nothing turned up. i dont really wana have to reinstall my OS.

any ideas?

It looks like your graphics card is borked. Try reseating the heatsink, taking it back to stock speeds if overclocked, or RMA'ing it if it's still under warranty.

is your gfx card overheating? Do they appear in everything or just on the desktop?

Do'h beaten to it :p

well my xpc case is well ventilated and the air seems pretty cool coming out of it. it isnt overclocked. the refresh rate is on the lowest setting (60hz) and its still the same. it happens on every program pretty much what its like in the image.
so looks like i need to sort my gfx card out them?!

I know what it is... you appear to have someones hand in your monitor and its causing static build up in the screen and the side effect is little green things dancing around it!

That looks like the memory on the GFX card has gone.... unless the memory is OC'd too far looks like you going to be sending that back is it a new card?

:(

well i tried the new drivers and that didnt work, the card is about 18months old and out of its 1yr warranty..... :( new card for then...... i hate being a skint student... but i cant be doing with this for much longer.
