Help spec a £1500

Hey guys New to forums and new to gaming spec's.
Would some one mind helping me out here ?
Budget is £1500 if i can stretch i will but it would have to be worth it...

Been playing around with Amd and ati seem's a major price cut from Nvida and intel trouble is i still end up closer to £2000 which considering im looking on installments it's to expensive !

Ideally would like the Ati 5970 in the build and a decent amount of Ram as i play around with 3d software aswell as gaming.

As above, do you need everything, OS, monitor, keyboard, mouse etc. Also, do you really need a 5970? It's a ridiculously expensive card, although the fastest you can get, why not just go for a 5850 just now. If that doesn't turn out to be fast enough for ya, get another in crossfire later on.

Would love a 24 / 30 inch monitor but imagine it would sky rocket my budget !

Got my eye on Zalman GT900 case

logitech Game board / Razor naga Mmo mouse
but accesories can be held off the sytsem is most important for me

Im surviving on an Imax currently
it just does not cut for the games i play..

5870 will be more than enough, and the GT900 case is ludicrously overpriced, really wouldnt bother.
