Help spec me a camcorder for my hols!

Hi,

My parents are after a DVD/HDD Camcorder for our holiday to New Zealand. We're going for a month, so HDD might not be the best idea. Would anyone be able to recommend a good quality camcorder for around £250. We'll be recording a lot so I guess the recording to DVD's ability would be best in terms of space.

For £250 and for general holiday stuff you're probably best just going on Amazon and checking which are the most popular cameras and reading a few reviews and the like. Am afraid I can't help you much as I don't use HDD or DVD cameras and not of a budget type (all the things I'd recommend to get\look for wouldn't be on budget cameras). Sorry!
