Help spec me a laptop

Just accepted a contract where I'll be working away from home and need a new laptop as a result.

Please help me spec something suitable for about £1k

I'm a developer so need min 2Gb plus a decent HD, ideally would want multimedia capabilites and a screen 15.4 -17". Doesn't haven't to be light as it's purpose is desktop replacement. Not so worried about gaming but a nice mid level gfx solution to run Aero and multimedia stuff to keep me entertained when living away would be great. Also need wifi/bluetooth. Would prefer to get it online also as really need it delivered by saturday.

Any thoughts?

Looked at them but I figured because they have to build them, they wouldn't be able to get me one by saturday.

Had a horrible experience with Acer(lack of customer support) with an Acer Ferrari that killed it's mobo.

Have ordered an Asus Z53SC. Which is a bit risky as it's so new there are no reviews and Asus don't even list it as a product lol. Only got an 8400 gfx but that's fine for what I need, also only 1.0Gb but crucial only want £65 for 2x1Gb sodimm so may as well upgrade it myself.

At least it's a santa rosa and from the limited specs I can see so far has the turbocache onboard which a lot of the early santa rosas don't.
