I'm trying to find a TV that will allow her to set record for freeview channel programs and record to a USB instead of using this crappy TalkTalk box on a 20-year-old TV. (she says she hates catch up due to adverts lol)

the TV needs to be between 32-42inch but prefers 40 if possible as she's upgrading from a 32.

Does anyone know of a TV that will do this? It's the most important thing for her and all the ones i can find that do it on youtube are 50+ inch.

1080p fine but 4k be nice.
£250-£400

Many thanks!

I tried it once so can't answer your questions.
My Mum was 85 when she died and up until two weeks before her death she was programming a Panasonic PVR like a boss.
I've found that the 'PVR' built into TVs aren't that good and i have experience of 4 TVs capable of doing it.
It would be nice to find a TV that does have an excellent PVR built in although I don't need one.

I have a VU+ Uno4k that can record at least 8 channels at once and it can be accessed in every room using a plugin in KODI on Fire Devices (or any Android box).

thanks for the info, apparently it's got advanced PVR whatever that is, so will try it out I guess.
