Hello

Looking for some options and opinons on what to spend some money on really want to get the cooling good in my system while keeping it quiet. I currently have a corsair A50 and 5 120mm fans in my zalman z11 but this is really noisey wondering what i should but looking to spend £50 thinking about and all in one liquid cooler? cause they are tidy and i would like to keep the window on my case clear? on the cooler and £40 on the fans ?

Was thinking Corsair CO-9050006-WW Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition 120mm Low Noise High Pressure Fan Dual Pack for the fans i could get 4 for £35?

and Corsair Hydro H40 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler ?

What are your opinions on the noise of these two and value for money?

The fans you suggest are brilliant, simply put, they move good air and are quiet at the same time.

As for the water cooler, I personally like ones with a thicker radiator so you get much more surface area to dissipate heat.

• You haven't mentioned what the PC spec is and if it's overclocked or if you would like to?

Finally a water cooler with a copper base would also help I think.

Hello :)

MY rig is

Asus M5A97 pro
Amd FX4100 @ 3.8 but ill put it back to 4.5 (of however high i could safely get it ) which i had it at before
Msi 7950 3gb twin frozer
8gb corsair low profile ram
A50 corsair cpu cooler
650watt Corsair psu

So what cooler would you suggest? pros/cons over air ? noise wise ?

The only reason i was thinking water is because the small block so i can see my pc through the window on the case. But i suppose better performance is worth it

If you want AIO water and prefer performance to looks, Id say a Corsair H70 with a pair of Scythe GT's is a good shot, the H70 is a double thick rad and has a copper contact plate. Another option would be the H80i which comes with a pair of Corsair SP fans, however the H80i isn't as reliable as the H70 (made for Corsair by different companies).
