Hi there,

I've got a post open on the server forums but not having much like, so i thought i'd try my luck in this part of the forums.

Im trying to install SQL 2005 in windows 2008 64x. I've google everything i can and followed and installed the hotfixes/software and still no luck.

Does anyone know the correct method to install it on a fresh OS? (i'm restoring my OS to a fresh copy).

I basically need to run a 32bit database app.

Yes i installed it but i came up with an relating to ASP .net - so looked this issue up, and tried to resolve it following the guides by converting 64x ASP to 32x ASP.
the install carried on but would not allow the database to be installed.
