HELP! Stay QHD 155hz or go UHD 60hz

Hiya,

I'm buying a 3080 or a BigNavi equivalent, but I don't know if I want to stick QHD decent 155hz refresh rate or go UHD 60hz.

The crux is that I can not afford a high refresh rate 4K monitor. I enjoy online gaming but the refresh rate in that regard doesn't matter that much to me, but what I do enjoy is the general smoothness of the higher refresh rate, even just moving the mouse on the desktop, I like that fluid motion. Then I really do fancy a higher res.

What to do.

So let's see some heated discussion to win your POV, low refresh 4k or high refresh 2k and solve my indecisiveness for me.

I was in the same reflexion and compared a bunch of solutions.

For pc monitor : I do not know your specs :
I decided to go for 2560x1440 32 inch instead of 3440x1440 34 inch previously and no 4k 60hz for sure.
4k 120 or 144hz could be oki but 27 inch is too small for me.
There is the oled LG 4k cx 120 fps 1600e 48 inch...if you have sufficiant place and the money but seems not.

So for games and according to your computer spec, I would stay in 1440P for another year or 2 and then make the jump towards 4k at more than 60hz on 32 inch or bigger. (Immersion)
