Help Steam saved games

I was clearing out games I dont play on Steam, and uninstalled the whole steam folder. Yes Im a noob lol

So have I lost all my saves for all my steam games.

I have tried to recover with so called free software (but they are never free). Can anyone recommend a true free bit of software. (I used to have some a long time ago but cant remember what it was called.

I have just installed steam and downloaded Dying Light and no saved game.

Silly question, but do you have Steam cloud enabled?

Dont think so.
