Hi, I have been spending the last week and a half compiling a build and everytime it changes abit I just can not decide on it do I need it or just plain want it :)

My max Budget would be £1000 a little here or there does not matter too much I guess but... Idle Budget would be £800 or less :D

My main uses are Office for Coursework, etc, CAD and various other graphic and design packages mostly 2006 versions and lower for my Studies. I'm a light gamer I currently only play 2 games Bfme2: RotWk and Lord of the Rings Online : Shadow of Angmar so not sure if 8800gts/gtx will benefit me at the moment for my gaming and design needs.

Within my Budget I need pretty much everything even a copy of Vista (mouse and keyboard I do not need)

I have Chosen my Monitor LG 20" LCD L204WT TCO-03 (1680x1050, 5ms, 2000:1) DVI for just under £165 so the excess £635(preferably) or £835 is for the Tower. Case has been the hardest thing to decide on, I keep looking at the Akasa Eclipse-62 but £93.99 is a huge chunk out of my budget so guys I leave it to you experts for suggestions and alternatives.

I want a Decent Mobo for Overclocking, and some decent Chipset,CPU and Case Cooling (on Air)

At Least 250GB of HDD Space (more the merrier) and All Drives Sata please

Many Thanks,
J Prior

Thanks Mate, quick reply and A nice build, couple of things to ask though is that Case big enough to hold the 8800gts without it rubbing something (being as its a monster of a card? and secondly 430w CPU wont it pass out from the strain from said monster < I don't mind spending extra of a decent PSU like the corsair HX 520w or 620w if it can stil stay under the £1000 mark

ok, thanks I bet I end up changing something when it gets near to checkout  I just can't help myself. just noticed the LG 20" is Pre Order (ETA 14/5/07) have any suggestions for a similar spec'd monitor at similar price?

K done, my HD TV is samsung so atleast it might match a little. just been looking at things would the BFG 8800 GTs be any better for me than the OcUk thinking Overclocking wise?

thanks guys I went with the suggestions and ordered it for Saturday Delivery

Total £993.86

I'm hoping this Samsung SM-206BW 20" Widescreen LCD Monitor matches the rest of my decor and well is good :p
