help stupid itunes on new ipod

Hi all

I plugged in new ipod to my mac that i wanted to copy music onto

I have already set the ipod up with apps and stuff.

I have synced my music accross by ticking the artists i want, but there are 5 zepplin songs that don't show up as ticked in itunes, but are on the ipod. but they are grey so i can't delete them or click them ? ? ?

If i sync that album back over it syncs fine and the songs are there in black but also the dupes are still there in grey, when i delete the album again the grey songs remain.

how do i get rid of it ?

ok so I tick manually manage videos and music

I also have sync my music unticked. I synced and all my stuff off the ipod is gone.

Except for the greyed out songs from 2 artists which only appear in grey on the ipod and no where else in itunes...
