Hi. I've just got some Arctic Cooling MX-2 thermal paste on the bottom side of the motherboard. I know, I'm stupid. I have no clue about that side of motherboards. I'm guessing applying solvent to remove it would be damaging. I know that the paste has no metal particles so if I got it on the top side of the motherboard, it wouldn't matter. But what about the bottom side?! Help please!

I'd clean it off with a cloth as best you can and then forget about it. MX-2 paste is non conductive so it should do no harm.

Yeah just wipe it off, it'll be fine*

Lol, very nice.

A quick note, are there any benchies comparing mx1 and mx2 at all, as i have mx1 and was wondering if there were any major improvements in temp made.
