Help! Thermal Paste?

Long story short I've ordered my very first PC which I will put together upon arrival to my house.

My question is, do I need to buy a tube of thermal paste?

All my stuff has already been ordered, do I need one of these?

Unless Intel have recently changed policy the skylake CPU series no longer come with a oem cooler, if you've ordered a cpu cooler then that will come with some paste in the box.

If you haven't ordered a cooler than you'll need to do so.

Yes it does show a tube on the picture with all the kit.

So it does, damnit, I feel stupid now. I just panicked lol. Worried all my stuff will turn up yet I can't proceed due to no paste.

I would assume it doesn't, it is probably best to buy some just in case.
