Hi guys,

Would really appreciate some help here. I'm looking for a new rig running up to £2000 (can push to £2500-3000 if needed).

I was looking at the Battlebox Zodiac from OCUK, as I'm looking to buy or build a system preferably in a cube case.

I was looking at the prices and I'm thinking it may be cheaper to build my own so would be grateful.

Preferred specs and uses for system:

Will be used for gaming and video encoding
Storage 500GB SSD + secondary/tertiary storage
Preferred a Cube based case
Decent graphics card to last me a few years with gaming on max settings

Really appreciate any help you guys are willing to provide - it's been an extremely long time since I've built a PC.

Thanks
Centropy

Either works, I can build it myself.

PSU to allow you to add a 2nd TitianX.

Looks good. I like the first two, however I have no experience in overclocking, which I'll definitely need. Any ideas as to how to resolve that?

There are guides for X99 overclocking online.

I can also guide you through the SOC Champion myself as it is something I have used.

What sort of clock speed did you want?

I'll be honest with you, I have no idea. It's going to be used heavily for gaming and encoding x265 videos...not sure if that will give you an idea..

Not doing it, you have 4 (is 5 but one is white) excellent suggestions.

But if you were to put a TitanX into that one with the 5960X+SOC champion, thats coming up on £3K roughly.

In fact.

what monitor, keyboard+mouse do you have? spend serious bucks on those things.

Bought all the pieces from the 5960X + SOC Champion and swapped 980 for the Titan X

I have a razer naga wireless and Ultimate blackwidow stealth and 24" monitor
