Hi guys,
Anybody know of a tuturial/guide for beginers in overclocking an
i7 2600k on a Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3.
Im looking to [email protected] max.
Really need a step by step guide as i dont know much about voltages/turbo
mode etc.
Im using a coolit vantage cpu cooler.
I've read the sanybridge oc sticky but still lost.
Any help from Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 owners or links would be much
appreciated.

First update bios to the F3h one as the F2 one crashes if you make small changes.

Depends if you want to go slowly or take big jumps :)

Just leave all on auto and up the multy and then vcore as needed

See how high you can go on stock voltage if you want then up it a notch or two at a time till it boots then test with prime95 and keep temps around 70c (80max)

I jumped in as i knew the chip would do high 4ghz on about 1.38v as previous owner had it at that.

Presently priming at 5Ghz on 1.44v so fairly happy with that.

Once you get higher up there are other setting that need to be changed but for under 4.5 you should be ok.

Bios update is a must or even if you change things like fan profile it wont boot till you leave it off for about 5 mins :( all sorted once that was updated.

Dual bios too so no need to worry about a failed flash :)

Good morning booter boy, today is the day I OC my P67A-UD7-B3 for the first time. I suggest we compare our findings as we are in the same boat.
