Hi guys. Looking for a little help to spec a build. Infact scratch that, I need a lot of help. I've been out of the loop for many moons now. I've not actually built a rig since I was in my teens over 10 years ago. So long that I am really confused about the vast array of parts/brands. Do I go AMD/Intel CPU, nVidia/AMD GPU etc, etc.
Long story short, it's going to be a gaming rig primarily, with the odd bit of amateur GoPro video footage editing. I know with my budget i'm not going to get something uber future proof, but wanting to get a good few years out of it without having to keep upgrading parts. I posted the same type of thread a few years ago but ended up going for a prebuilt system. Its extremely dated now. I figured I would get a little more bang for buck if i were to build it myself.
I'm also looking for a monitor to be included in the budget. Of which is £1500. But willing to stretch to £2000 if it is really worth it.
I know its a big ask, but i'd like to say thanks in advance.
