My 4 year old computer is on its last legs and its time I built my own again!

Will be used for games a lot and I can increase the budget and I will be buying some sound proofing to keep it quite if possible.

I am comfortable with AMD, ASUS as its all I know, have not had Intel gear for ages, anyway how does it look?

Oops yes did not notice SLI ready boards will be changing motherboard probably to the ASUS crosshair.

Will need to think about Intel I think when AMD roll out new processers in Easter I would be ready for an upgrade when the price drops.
 
I may try my hand at a modest overclock my priority was a quite system but it seems like if I do overclock then I would be as well going with c2d.

I will have to check up on INTEL systems a bit thanks for advice will save me on the long run.
