Hi, I recently replaced the DC socket in my laptop but am having immense trouble replacing the fat ribbon cable (keyboard interface I'm assuming) into the zif connector and keeping it there.
I can slide out the ZIF connector, put in the cable and just about manage to slide lock it in place, but when I try and replace the chassis there just doesnt seem to be enough play and it pulls itself out again.
Anyone have any tricks of the trade that could help me ?
