help turn off my throttling thingy....

problem is the smart thing on my mobo(i think)that throttles the core temp when pc is idle or something. its only showing 1600 mhz. i found a topic on this last night, however i cant find it now.

anyone know how i turn this off.

my mobo is a gigibyte p35c-ds35r and processor is q6600 with 2 gb crucial ballistix 1066

Thanks for all your posts, I think i'll leave it on for time being. Ordered my thermalright 120 Extreme so should be better when this arrives.
