Help..unable to delete folder/file win10

Running windows 10 home edition, ran into a few issues last night my own doing and today i done a reset this pc option, everything seemed to go alright got my stuff installed and then spotted a folder called

windows.old in my c drive i am for the love of god unable to delete this folder i keep getting told i need permissions etc, as far as i can see i am administrator but no matter how many times i try i cannot delete it, safe mode will not allow deletion of this folder either.

anyone able to help please

disk cleanup then a button called clean windows system files... click that, let it do it's thing... job jobbed :)



So yea click that then it will do some stuff, then tick a box previous windows version... and you sir should be done!
 
For some strange reason my brain did not reach into the empty void of grey matter where this simple solution was stored many thanks for pulling that out for me :)
