Help understanding furmark scores.

I ran furmark at 1280x1024 no AA. my score is 6719. not sure if that is good or bad. i did look at the score list and 2 people with a 4870x2 have 625928 and 576747.

My score is turd compared to that and i have a core i7 were as they have core 2 quad and core 2 duo.??? I Also noticed it says that my OS is windows server 2007??? my OS is windows 7 64bit.

Just ran it in windows mode and oddly this was my score. 30345. Still no were near the scores i posted above despite me having a better system. Could they of OCed to get that?

Have you tried running 3d vantage?

I will give that a go but im not sure what a good scored would be on vantage. Plus the trial runs out in no time what so ever.

my hd 5870 gets a graphics score of 16k

Just ran vantage and it crashes. when it gets to the third test? says vantage exe has stopped working? im running windows 7.
