Hi All

I am still building up my rig and wanted to look into water-cooling it

I haven't done any water-cooling before but how hard could it be (insert hubris here)

In all seriousness I have
O11 Dynamic XL
Ryzen 9 5900x
RTX 3080 Strix OC - If it ever arrives due to ********** (we all know and don't need reminding)

I know I want to go hard line tubing and use the Distro Plate for the O11 XL with the D5 pump

The actual bends and such I can learn from YouTube (thanks jay......)

The bit I am completely stuck on is what fittings/tubing do I need and how to make sure they are compatible with the radiators I need (help here as well), I know I want 2 radiators being a slim and a medium because of the measurements of the case.

any and all help would be amazing

thank you in advance

All components - rads, pumps, blocks, etc. - use G1/4 holes and all fittings will fit into the components. The question for you is really what size tubing you want. Most hardline is 14mm Outside Diameter (OD) but so long as you buy tubing and fittings that stipulate the same sizes for ID and OD and are from the same company you shouldn't have any trouble. Beware mixing tubing and fittings.

As mike said above, you'll be looking to match the tubing with the fittings, the inner dimensions seem to not matter for the fittings due to o-rings going around the outer, and that is where it does matter.
Look at the hard tubing in the watercooling store section and you'll see them list the outer dimension, just match that to the fittings (linked below the hard tubes in the store) and you should be golden.

The blocks and rads all use the same G1/4 threaded holes so that's what you'll be looking for as there cou

The inner dimensions matter more for soft tubing due to the barb.

The thing to look at for radiators is where the connections are and if they will work, some only have 2 some have more and allow for more design choice.
