Hey,

I have a asus P5B-VM :O sucks for overclocking, dont ask why I ended up with this board because I dont know :)

core2duo e6300
evga 7950gt
corsair 667mhz ram

I have around £100 but can + or - to that because I believe some of the better OC motherboards are around 120ish.

-abit AW9D series (975X)
-ASUS P5W DH series (975X)
-DFI Infinity or LANParty 975X/G
-abit AB9 series
-ASUS P5B* Deluxe/WiFi-AP (965P)
-Gigabyte 965P-DS3 or DS4 or DQ6

Heard that these mobo's are good, could you please advise me, if you reccomend spending more please explain in reasonable detail the pros gained.

Many thanks in advance,
Lamus

Gigabyte DS3P is better than the DS3.

I have one of those with a E4300 clocked to 3.1Ghz on it. It works like a dream for me, don't know if its the BEST though. Just from personal experience.

Hmmm, I'm thinking possibly the Gigabyte DS3P or the Asus p5b-Deluxe...

Though I wait for more input before making any decisions

Ah well, done some more research and have gone with the DS3P, looks like a beast of a board tbh.

Thanks for the reply jaffa Z)

I'd suggest the Gigabyte DS3 or the Asus P5N-E SLi. Based on people's experience on this forum they seem to be hitting the 3GHz mark pretty easily. In most cases these boards are highly capable in terms of overclocking ability
