i've finally been sent my logo and stationary files to now use to get some leaflets/bcards done. as vistaprint are a shorter size business card i've edited the layered .ai files i've been given to shorten the business cards.
the trouble i then have is the preview image looks aweful! i mean really bad and jaggedy. i thought perhaps this was just the preview being bad but the actual printed version will be fine but they say this is exactly how it'll look and if i upload the .ai file i was given by the logo people then it's better (not great) so i'm lost.
the file is being saved with 300ppi on the raster effect settings if it makes any difference.
how do i get this looking nice and sharp as it should be?
