Help urgent, do tesco take returns or exchange?

Hello I bought oblivion yesterday and would like to return it to tesco for a exchange or refund what are their policys on video games? I once took a cd back as an unwanted gift and they were really cagey about giving me a refund they even had to ask a manager??

I believe they will only exchange it for the exact same game, when I bought 2 games from there on seperate occasions the bloke selling me them seemed to have a little script he had to tell anyone buying games, keep the reciept you can only exchange for the same game was the basic jist of it.
