*Help* - W7 slow login on new build

Just built a new pc with the following spec and have a strange problem. PC boots like lightening to desktop however if I set an account password the pc boots to the login screen like lightening but after the password is entered takes in excess of 30 secs to hit the desktop. Really can't work this out.

I've disabled everything unnecessary in msconfig and used Samsung Magician to optimise system settings. I've also reinstalled .net framework.

Spec as follows

i5 4670k
ASRock Z87M mobo
18gb ram (corsair vengeance)
GTX 780
Samsung Evo 250gb SSD system drive
WD Green drive for storage

Starting to pull my hair out now so any help appreciated

create a new account (with password) and see if that is also affected.

Hi Marc

Just created a second administrator account, it is not affected. Boots almost instantly to desktop when password is put in

Edit: just disconnected my mapped drives and back to full speed. **sigh** never did this before when my mapped shares were unavailable?

Try mapping your shares by IP address and see if that logs more quickly.

Will do. On my previous build it just logged straight in and showed the shares with red x's as my nas is normally always asleep
