Hi,

I'm not sure if this thread would be best in the laptop section or cooling, sorry if it's the wrong one.

I have recently purchased a new laptop and often use this on the bed but I have now noticed that it is getting quite hot when resting on the duvet.

I have been looking at a number of options such as cushions and cooling pads that you can get for laptops.

Does anybody have any information as to what would be best and if they actually work.

Any help would be brilliant! :)

Yup, just saved yourself a warning :D

I would try putting it on a book large enough to allow air to circulate. If that runs fine, then get one without fans. Laptops get hot anyway, lack of airflow makes it hotter (naturally!).
