I was playing fortnite for a few hours and my system just shut down and then restarted. I checked the event log and it had a fatal error which said, PCIEroot logger fatal error weah ID 16 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A70D

What could be the cause of this?

System specs:

Lian li Q58
INTEL 13600kf
Asus b760i strix
Kingston ddr5 6800 cl38 32gb
RTX 3080ti asus tuf oc
Coolermaster v850 sfx psu
2tb nvme wd black sn850
1tb crucial nvme

@steverebo I had very similar symptoms with a friends pc but in Guild wars 2. exact same scenario & error code, and gpu funny enough
After taking a step back & thinking, i thought might be PCI-E lane bandwidth & forcing the GPU to use PCI-E 3.0 (instead of auto) fixed the issue

I think what was happening was the GPU was switching from PCI-E 4/3 when Storage was being used & it didnt have enough lanes or like the switch :)
could also be the psu as 850W is a push for that config

I will go into bios and give that a go cheers, I was thinking 850w might be pushing it according to all the calculators I've tried it comes up at 94% load which is a bit close
