Help - weird message on first boot

So I finished my build, and was running my first test boot. Slightly panicked due to nothing on the screen at first, had to connect HDMI cable as well as DisplayPort (was the same with my old monitor, never did figure it out).

Then this message:

‘New CPU installed. fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure changed.

Press Y to reset fTPM, if you have a BitLocker or encryption enabled, the system will not boot without a recovery key

Press N to keep previous fTPM record and continue system boot, fTPM will NOT enable in new CPU, you can swap back to the old CPU to recover TPM related keys and data.’

Literally none of this means anything to me. What is fTPM and does it matter if I don’t have it? Every component I have used is brand new, so there is no ‘old’ CPU to switch back to.

Hmmm. Asus site says this is normal. Doesn’t look very bloody normal to me and they should rephrase the message, but apparently it’s because the FTPM update ‘comes from the CPU’ and may change when a different one is used. So I should use the Y option.
