Help! What cable/connector do I need?

I have just bought the OC 8800GTX, and didn't realise that it *only* had DVI outputs. My Samsung LCD supports HDMI or standard PC VGA connections, not a native DVI one. What cable/connector do I need to get?

This is what you are after.

DVI to VGA adapter. You should have got one with the card. I got one with my OCUK GTX.

So that will give me an analogue connection, right? In order to benefit from a digital connection am I correct in thinking I'd need a DVI cable with a DVI to HDMI connector to work with my LCD? And what difference would I notice (i.e. what benefit is there)?

DVI -> HDMI converters are available, and the image signal would indeed be digital.

DVI to HDMI cable should do it, you might have to twiddle with the drivers to get the scaling right IIRC.

Oh yes, digi is much crisper.
