Help, what does this error mean?

Hey guys, I've got a pretty new PC and have just recently started having games crash every so often after a few hours of play. If anyone has any solutions or ideas on what to do please let me know. I gather its something wrong with the graphics but is it the card or just the PC messing up? Its a 8800 GTX btw

Sometimes it works again but then keeps crashing after, usually a reboot sorts it for a while. How would i go about checking the card temp? btw the PC is the Ultima OC 8800GTX i got on here if thats any help.

I have just noticed the tuniq cooler was turned to low on the back of the PC, I've put it too high now but surely this shouldn't be enough to make it over heat
