help what has happened??

hey guys i have built my first sytem and all was going well fullinstalled vista and began to instal a game and then i went back it said it had recovered from a major problem but the system was frozen so i restarted my system and now it just does contious short beeps apprantly its a power problem but all my stuff is brand new you guys got any ideas as to what i can do??

what specs? and did you get an error message? are drivers, bios all up to date?

Have you tried reseating the memory and video card?

specs = computer specifications, ie what motherboard, cpu etc... just like info in most people's signatures in forums

EDIT: sry barkeep thought OP was asking what specs meant

just sorted it sorry for panicking guys its one of the ram stick must be faulty
